Tomato Avocado salad


I love this salad! No joke. Its the bomb diggity. You've got to make it this weekend. Your hind will thank me- and so will your tounge!

Just thought I'd start out the year with a bang! I've been reading this hilarious book, and decided to make it a Dairy Free January. So far we've make pita pizza and eaten a lot of fruit and vegetables!

Woah, woah, dairy free with pizza? Yeah, can't wait to tell you about this cheese.

Come a long for the ride and I'll tell you all about why I decided to go diary-free for a month.

But first, these are pita pizzas!



They are made with homemade pitas, topped with marinara sauce, red onion, tomato slices, fresh basil, and "mozzarella". Follow the link to see this cool cheese, currently found at Price Cutter and Mama Jean's. The package says it melts, but it just got a little brown under the broiler. Nonetheless, it tasted great!
